Sample Questions, Practice Questions, and Practice TestCandidates are strongly advised to work through at least one of the GAMSAT practice publications to evaluate preparation needed, particularly in the sciences.
The Sample Questions and Practice Questions each contain practice materials equivalent to approximately half a full test and with the same balance of question types. Though similar in format, they contain different selections of material designed to give examples of the types of question, skill and knowledge contained in GAMSAT. Answers are given for all questions and suggested worked solutions are provided for some. The questions should take 2 to 21/2 hours to complete if worked through under test conditions. The Practice Test is equivalent to a full test and will take approximately 51/2 hours to complete under exam conditions. Answers to all the multiple choice questions are provided at the end of the book.

It is advisable to work through the materials in the Sample Questions, Practice Questions and/or Practice Test booklets to gauge the level of complexity and the type of question asked. Do this exercise under test conditions using the same timing as you would be allowed in the test itself. When working through the Sample or Practice Questions or the Practice Test you should pace yourself to answer approximately 20 questions in 30 minutes.Self-analysis of your performance on these materials will give you an indication of your strengths and weaknesses and be a guide to further preparation.The materials are available from UCAS Online Shop at a cost of £15 each (Sample Questions and Practice Questions) and £25 for the Practice Test.
